Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Varied shifts with every other weekend requirement.
Job Description
The Emergency Department provides care for patients with a wide variety of needs, ranging from non-critical to emergent medical conditions, including urgent mental health care. All patients are welcome, whether walking in or arriving by emergency transport. All Emergency Department staff are certified to manage critical cardiac and trauma patients, including children.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with diverse medical and psychological needs in the Emergency Department.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess and plan patient care in emergent situations.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform necessary procedures and interventions as per established protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in emergency care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
- ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications are required.
- CEN certification is preferred.
