A dynamic organization serving the construction industry is seeking a team member to help plan and execute high-quality events, educational programs, and marketing initiatives. This individual will work closely with a small, collaborative staff team and volunteer leaders to create a positive experience for customers, program participants, partners, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Events and Programs

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, seminars, educational programs, and other organizational activities.
• Manage event and program budgets, including expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related financial tracking.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with customers, participants, vendors, volunteers, and other external contacts.
• Coordinate planning groups or task forces for assigned events and programs as needed.
• Evaluate events, programs, and seminars to ensure objectives are being met and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venues, vendors, registration, communications, materials, and on-site execution.

Marketing and Communications

• Develop and implement internal and external marketing and communication strategies, including social media.
• Create promotional materials and content to support educational programs, events, and other organizational initiatives.
• Coordinate and produce print and electronic newsletters and other communications.
• Maintain consistent messaging and branding across communication channels.
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to promote programs, services, events, and educational opportunities.

Volunteer and Customer Support

• Provide staff support and serve as a liaison to assigned committees, task forces, and volunteer groups.
• Coordinate with volunteers involved in programs, educational activities, services, and events.
• Help ensure volunteers and customers have a positive, organized, and professional experience.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with customers, volunteers, business partners, and other stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

This position requires flexibility to occasionally work early mornings and evenings in support of organizational events and activities. Occasional overnight travel may also be required.
