As a member of our counseling team, you will collaborate closely with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals while enjoying the convenience of working from your home office. Our outpatient office setting allows you to focus on providing therapeutic services without the distractions of a traditional in-person clinic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Medical Director and healthcare team to create and coordinate individualized mental health treatment plans that address patient needs.

• Provide in-service training on mental health topics to medical, psychiatric, and security staff, ensuring a well-informed team.

• Effectively intervene in mental health crises within the facility, employing de-escalation techniques to manage acute situations.
\n
• Participate in commitment hearings as required, playing a critical role in the judicial process regarding patient care.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans and therapy goals for clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to individual circumstances.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
\n
• Verify clients' mental health histories, including previous treatments and psychotropic medication use to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Prepare regular reports on patient progress and any necessary specialized reports, contributing to team continuity and comprehensive care.

• Work with nursing and mental health staff to coordinate post-release referral options, ensuring continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.

• Minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to the attractive salary, we offer a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our dedicated team.
