Responsibilities Welcome all customers and set expectations with customers. Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses. Act as a leader in optical acumen. Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs. Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions. Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, with exceptional product knowledge and appropriate tools. Proactively explore root cause of issues, think forward, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, and be solution driven. Multitask, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities. Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs and competencies. Take pride in store appearance and help keep store clean, attractive, and organized. Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices. Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management. Basic Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent. State Licensure. Optical dispensing experience. Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder. Knowledge of current store merchandise. Strong basic math skills. Awareness of current fashion trends. Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet. Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators. Embrace new technology and change. Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service and retail experience. Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $23.97 - $37.39 per hour. Employee pay is determined by factors including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, a competitive bonus and/or commission plan may be offered. Benefits may include healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts.
