Health Insurance Specialist

Duties
Provides strategic direction and technical advice on policies and operations for the Medicare Drug Rebate and Negotiation Programs, including implementation, execution, development, and long-term sustainability of MDRNG program requirements.
Serves as subject-matter expert and chief point of contact to external entities on system development and implementation. Develops and expands partnerships with key stakeholders.
Provides authoritative technical expertise to MDRNG staff, contractors, and CMS and HHS leadership on operations, systems, and product development needed to implement the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation and Inflation Rebate Programs.
Leads government and contractor teams on system design and development initiatives. Coordinates complex, high-priority assignments, directs long-term strategy implementation, and resolves policy and operational challenges.
