About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of HR to play a pivotal role in the leadership and development of its employee-owned organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and implementing leadership development programs, succession planning strategies, and high-potential employee development pathways. They will also be instrumental in strengthening the company's recruiting, leadership development, and organizational infrastructure, all while ensuring that the employee-owners feel valued, empowered, and connected to a shared purpose. Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company must have a minimum of 7 years' progressive HR leadership experience, with a strong background in leadership development and talent management. The role requires a strategic operator with a builder's mindset, capable of creating and enhancing systems to support the organization's growth. Executive-level communication skills, the ability to work closely with field-based teams, and a deep alignment with an employee-ownership culture are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting organizational growth and scaling initiatives, as well as experience in industries such as construction, skilled trades, industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or transportation. Professional certifications and Spanish-speaking ability are a plus, but not mandatory.
