Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by healthcare professionals, assessing their physical capabilities and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, ensuring they align with their physician's recommendations.
• Implement a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to improve functional abilities, alleviate pain, and promote recovery.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their caregivers regarding exercise regimens, safe movement techniques, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain and document patient records accurately, tracking progress to facilitate ongoing adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
• Cultivate strong therapeutic relationships with patients, encouraging their active participation in the rehabilitation process.
• Meet minimum utilization goals while contributing positively to the overall effectiveness and collaborative nature of the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing orthopedic injuries, neurological challenges, pediatric cases, and those requiring sports medicine rehabilitation. Each patient's unique journey will require your expertise and empathetic approach to facilitate their recovery effectively.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and teammates.
• Proficiency in word processing, electronic medical records, and the use of therapeutic equipment.
• A proven ability to build rapport with patients and community members, displaying a genuine desire to help others achieve their health goals.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
• Experience working with various patient demographics including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations.
• Knowledge of current physical therapy practices and protocols that enhance patient care and recovery outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

The yearly salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package:
