Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing individualized treatment plans to address specific orthopedic issues, including injury rehabilitation and pain management.
• Assessing patients' functional abilities through diagnostic tests and evaluations to determine their level of physical capability.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
• Overseeing the implementation of therapy plans by Physical Therapy Assistants and ensuring adherence to best practices within the treatment protocols.
• Conducting home evaluations to recommend adaptations and resources that promote patient independence and safety.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team during case conferences to evaluate and modify treatment strategies based on client progress and feedback.
• Documenting patient interactions and treatment outcomes through clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, and progress reports, in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding home exercise programs and the effective use of assistive devices.
• Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.
• Flexibly adapting treatment approaches based on new research findings and patient needs, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain issues, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will help promote recovery and mobility, playing an integral role in improving their overall quality of life. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program, with a strong foundation in orthopedic care.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a physical therapist, ideally within an acute care or home healthcare setting.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with a clean professional standing.
• Certification in CPR to ensure patient safety during therapy sessions.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance for transportation to patient locations when necessary.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
