Work Environment

This role is based in Asbury Park and involves providing physical therapy services directly to patients in their home environments, allowing for a personalized approach to care that responds to individual needs. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult patients, with a primary focus on individuals aged 40-65, treating approximately three patients per hour.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, resolving pain, and improving physical function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education to facilitate recovery.
• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with a multidisciplinary team including medical doctors (MDs), occupational therapists (OTs), and nurse practitioners (NPs).
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation using CureMD EMR, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic for this position includes adults in their middle age who are experiencing orthopedic conditions such as joint pain, post-surgical recovery, and mobility issues. You will work closely with each patient to provide tailored therapy that meets their unique needs, improving their quality of life while adhering to evidence-based treatment protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Hold an active or eligible physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with an emphasis on orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy is preferred.
• Experience in home care or community-based therapy settings is a distinct advantage.
• Familiarity with the CureMD EMR system or similar electronic health record systems.
• Strong commitment to professional development and a passion for enhancing patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package with an annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
