Molecular Devices seeks a Key Account Manager to drive sales of bioresearch instrumentation, software, and services across the Pacific Northwest territory. The role involves managing customer relationships, prospecting for new business, and achieving revenue targets while working in the field at least 3 days weekly.
Responsibilities
- Achieve territory revenue goals and targets through direct and distribution channel sales
- Prospect for new customers and opportunities in assigned Pacific Northwest territory
- Perform technical demonstrations, training, and customer support on equipment and software
- Generate accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecasts and monitor territory metrics
- Conduct lead generation activities including seminars, trade shows, and field prospecting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years field sales experience in life sciences, drug discovery, or related industry
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Salesforce CRM
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel up to 50% within territory
- Experience with research instrumentation and absorbance/fluorescence/luminescence technologies preferred
Compensation: $95,750–$105,750 base; $190,000–$200,000 total target compensation (including sales incentive)
