They are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Plano, Texas. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for the management of outstanding Accounts Receivable balances and the execution of various collection processes. Your responsibilities will also involve conducting root cause analysis, reconciliation work, and managing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct business-to-business collections to manage outstanding AR balances.

• Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues that lead to delayed payments.

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for tracking and managing collections activities.

• Handle outbound correspondence and phone calls for collections follow-ups.

• Ensure accurate records of customer credit applications and accounts.

• Manage account reconciliation tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

• Conduct billing functions and manage Collections process.

• Conduct additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the team.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge and experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid understanding and ability to perform Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Collection Processes

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Skills in Account Reconciliation

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of integrity and dependability.
