Senior Accountant ConsultantLHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a property management organization to fill a Senior Accountant Consultant position in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers a hybrid schedule and will be on a consulting basis for approximately 5-6 months. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with budget-to-actual reporting, variance analysis, and property management accounting. Apply today for immediate consideration!Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare budget-to-actual reporting and perform variance analysis for a portfolio of properties.Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Analyze operating results and investigate variances, providing explanations and recommendations.Support consolidated audits and property-level financial statement audits.Maintain accurate general ledger activity and supporting schedules.Partner with property management and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and audit requests as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within property management or real estate.Prior audit support experience, including exposure to financial statement audits.Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs; financial modeling experience is a plus.Experience using Yardi software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; hybrid schedule with a minimum of 2-3 days per week in the Brooklyn, NY office.$40-60/hr
