As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and physical structure of our facility, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities Maintain grounds and facilities, including performing minor repairs, painting, and decorating Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards and maintenance needs Respond to requests from clients, supervisors, and end-users Complete scheduled maintenance tasks and repairs as assigned Provide information and advice on maintenance issues to clients and customers Deliver excellent customer service Liaise with contractors to ensure projects are completed on time Ensure rooms are maintained and fully equipped Reports equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to Supervisor as soon as possible Maintains confidentiality and upholds resident rights Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Ability to make independent decisions and work harmoniously with other personnel Ability to minimize waste of supplies and misuse of equipment Ability to provide handyman work Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace Acknowledgement I have read this job description and fully understand the requirements set forth therein.
