Insurance Regulatory Counsel

Are you an experienced Insurance Regulatory Counsel looking to make a career move to the top of the industry? Geico Auto Insurance is currently seeking a talented and knowledgeable individual to join our Regulatory Team. As the Insurance Regulatory Counsel, you will be responsible for providing advice and counsel on regulatory matters related to our auto insurance business. You will also be taskedwith developing, implementing and managing regulatory compliance initiatives, as well as maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies.To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctor degree and at least five years of experience in a regulatory counsel role in the insurance industry. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. You must also possess the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Provide advice and counsel on regulatory matters related to auto insurance business. Develop, implement, and manage regulatory compliance initiatives. Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance. Research, analyze, and interpret insurance-related laws and regulations. Prepare legal documents, such as contracts and memorandums of understanding. Prepare and present reports to senior management on regulatory developments and compliance status. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments in the insurance industry. Identify and mitigate potential legal risks. Represent the company in hearings and other proceedings.
