This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function, responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. The candidate will be working independently in a manufacturing plant environment, with daily work assigned via a work order management system and various added tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems; exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.Impact team through defined duties, methods, and tasks as described in detail.Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.Complete daily work assigned via work order management system and various added tasks from the Hiring Manager.Perform weekly visual inspections.Conduct eye wash station inspections.Escort vendors as required.Perform general office maintenance.Required SkillsBasic electrical knowledgeBasic plumbing knowledgeGeneral maintenance skillsBasic mechanical aptitudeGood customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer skillsMicrosoft Office (including Outlook)Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of workStrong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindsetPreferred SkillsMinor HVAC experience, including changing beltsTrade school diploma (a plus)Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma requiredIn lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be consideredRequired Experience2–4 years of job-related maintenance experienceWork Environment / Physical RequirementsManufacturing plant environmentCandidate will work independentlyMust meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/laddersMust be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or moreOccasional on-call with a minimum of 4 hours paid overtimeBackground check required (CBRE Safety Specific, with drug screen)Important NotesURGENT — The hiring manager will begin reviewing resumes immediately.
