Job Title HR Manager Location HNRS South Carolina Honors College Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Under general supervision from the Finance and HR Director, performs a variety of comprehensive HR functions in support of the South Carolina Honors College (SCHC). Ensure operational accuracy and efficiency by initiating, managing and monitoring assigned and delegated HR activities. All work adheres to USC HR policies, State of SC HR regulations and applicable federal HR law and regulations specific to higher education. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to function in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Well organized, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to deal diplomatically with various constituent groups. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret information accurately. Ability to handle data with confidentiality and manage multiple assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to human resources. Ability to analyze requests and determine compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge and understanding of USC HR policies, State of SC HR regulations and applicable federal HR law and regulations specific to higher education. Prior experience in cross‑functional HR program management.
