Assistant Property Manager (Temp-to-Hire) Location: Chicago, IL – Near West Garfield Park Employer: Express Employment Professionals Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour (approximately $50,000–$58,000 annually) Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Express Employment Professionals Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking two dependable and professional Assistant Property Managers to support residential property operations for a client located in the Near West Garfield Park area of Chicago. These are excellent temp-to-hire opportunities for candidates with strong customer service, administrative, and organizational skills who enjoy working directly with residents, vendors, and property management teams. Openings Available Opening #1: Bilingual Spanish-speaking required Opening #2: Bilingual Spanish-speaking preferred What You’ll Do Support Property Managers in day-to-day operations and tenant communication Respond to tenant inquiries, maintenance requests, and resident concerns Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and property inspections Assist with lease renewals, rent collection, and enforcing lease terms Help prepare property budgets, reports, and financial documentation Maintain accurate tenant records, files, and property documentation Advertise vacancies, schedule showings, and assist with tenant screening Collaborate with maintenance staff and vendors to help ensure properties remain well maintained and operational What We’re Looking For Previous experience as an Assistant Property Manager, Leasing Assistant, or in a similar administrative/property management role preferred Knowledge of leasing practices, property operations, and general real estate procedures preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with AppFolio or similar property management software is a plus Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Professional demeanor and attention to detail High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred What We Offer Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential Competitive pay based on experience Professional and supportive work environment Hands-on experience in residential property operations and tenant relations Opportunity for career growth and advancement within property management #J-18808-Ljbffr Express Employment Professionals - Spokane
