Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.54 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:45 PM - 06:00 PMTue01:45 PM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access permissions, and report policy violations, suspicious behavior, or facility issues through required reporting channels. Minimum Requirements: Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
