Job Description:

We are seeking a competent and dedicated Cardiology Physician to join our team. This role involves hospital consults, hospital call, TEE, EKG, and nuclear testing. The schedule includes one week of call from Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM, followed by one week of clinic work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.


Support Staff: Medical assistants in the office support the physician.


Coverage Requirements:

• Two physicians (or one full-time equivalent) needed per month to cover the schedule
• This equates to two weeks of call and two weeks of clinic work

Patient Load:

• Hospital: approximately 20 patients per day
• Clinic: approximately 18 patients per day

Additional Details:

• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Bed Size: 74
• Practice setting includes academic/training and ambulatory surgery center environments
• Wellspan owned practice within Hospital-Gettysburg Hospital
• Requires Board Certification or eligibility
• License required
• DEA registration required
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 120 days if not already credentialed with Wellspan; temporary options available with a clean file

Shift Information:

• Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 17:00)
