Job Requirements

• Board certified in Radiation Oncology or board eligible within 5 years of training
• Active Pennsylvania state medical license required
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS required if moderate or conscious sedation privileges are requested
• At least 1 year of recent Radiation Oncology experience preferred
• Experience with Meditech or similar electronic medical record systems required
• Skills in SBRT, SRS, IMRT, VMAT, and 3D conformal radiation therapy preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality radiation oncology care for adult and geriatric patients
• Evaluate and manage approximately 16-20 treatments and 1 consult per day
• Deliver treatment planning and clinical oversight for advanced radiation therapy techniques
• Collaborate with support staff and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure efficient daily operations
• Document accurately in the EMR and maintain smooth patient flow
• Provide coverage during assigned weekday shifts while maintaining a high standard of patient-centered care
• Support a streamlined practice environment with no call or weekend coverage requirements
