Senior .NET Application Developer

Salary: $115,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent applied experience as a Senior .NET Developer may be substituted.
• At least 8 years of technical analysis experience as a .NET software application developer.
• Experience with Microsoft C# (.NET Core), .NET 6 or later, and .NET Framework 4.8 or later.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or another DevOps tool.
• Experience with MVC and MVVM design patterns.
• Experience with ORM and database technologies, including Entity Framework Core 6 or later.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server 2016 or later and Oracle 12c or later.
• Experience with front-end tools such as jQuery, AJAX, and Telerik Kendo UI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful web services and back-end services, including Windows Services and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience implementing SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect authentication protocols.
• Experience using JSON Web Tokens (JWT) for secure API communication.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and claims-based authentication.
• Experience with Microsoft Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2019 or later.
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology, security, and identity management.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security principles.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust government clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for this government agency role.

• Deliver solutions across the full systems development lifecycle, applying technical expertise to clarify scope and support successful project delivery.
• Support websites, web-enabled data-entry systems, standalone and client-server applications, and collaborative computing products.
• Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software applications, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Research, test, and build products, and coordinate their conversion or integration to meet client requirements.
• Develop new software products and major enhancements, then assess the effectiveness of the solutions.
• Address systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform issues.
• Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
• Conduct feasibility analyses for potential projects and report findings to management.
• Help evaluate and recommend application software packages, integration solutions, and testing tools.
• Resolve software issues and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Contribute to software user manuals and technical reports.
• Oversee projects as a senior developer and guide, supervise, and mentor less senior staff.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and team members.
• Conduct code reviews and review team members work.
