Sales Support Specialist

This position is responsible for assisting the manager in providing operational support by working with outside sales staff, members of management and others within the organization. The Sales Support Specialist delivers assistance to the Sales Team that is essential in helping drive the organization in exceeding its revenue goals. Must have great time management and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with Sales, Accounting, Chemical Sales Reps, Operations and Customers. In addition, this position provides direct administrative support to the Commercial Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Screen & route potential new customers Send information or signup packets to potential customers Verify third-party/direct invoices Maintain pricing & quotes Process and submit bids Provide support to Executives & Sales as needed Prepare reports both periodically and ad hoc Calculate, track, and process rebates Print marketing information and assemble marketing folders Source documentation from manufacturers to satisfy customer requests. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Comfortable designing reports Able to analyze reports and information Accuracy and attention to detail Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards Superior organizational skills Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, converting units of measure, ratio, etc.) Problem-solving and analytical ability Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver’s license EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Prefer Bachelor’s Degree Minimum 1 year in similar position Chemical or Distribution experience is a plus Experience with MS Publisher, Adobe Products (Acrobat Standard, Photoshop, etc), Crystal Reports or other BI query software would be a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
