Job Description

Our Outlet Sales Consultants create a welcoming experience for every customer while helping them find quality home furnishings at exceptional values. You will learn about each customer's needs, preferences, timing, and budget, then guide them toward furniture, accessories, bedding, and protection products that are right for their home.

Using Bassett's proven selling process, you will build relationships, demonstrate products, address questions, close sales, and provide thoughtful follow-up.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and engage customers in the showroom
• Discover customer needs and recommend products across Bassett's home furnishings categories.
• Demonstrate product features and benefits, address objections, and close sales.
• Follow up with customers throughout the order process and provide ongoing service.
• Accurately prepare sales orders and maintain customer information.
• Develop strong product knowledge and use Bassett's systems and technology to support sales.
• Assist with showroom appearance, inventory, safety, and cleaning standards.
• Complete required training, participate in team meetings, and support other duties as assigned.

Compensation, Training, and Benefits

• Hourly plus bonus compensation model
• Bonus based on sales volume

Physical and Work Requirements

This position requires the ability to work retail hours, including weekends and most holidays; stand and walk for extended periods; occasionally push or pull up to 25 pounds; bend, reach, climb stairs, kneel, and crouch; and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
