Overview
Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Tele) – Bakersfield, California, United States. This travel assignment begins 08/17/2026 and runs for 8 weeks in an inpatient, acute-care telemetry setting. Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines.
- Apply critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment in daily practice.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications as appropriate, document care, and respond to changes in condition.
- Participate in care coordination, patient education, and discharge planning as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety and quality of care throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Telemetry or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a 3x12 schedule (3 days per week)
- Willingness to participate in a short-term travel assignment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care across disciplines
