About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Programs to play a pivotal role in advancing its vision of a world rooted in rights, justice, dignity, and democracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's donor collaborative portfolio, leading cross-donor collaborative programming and grantmaking, and cultivating new donor collaboratives on issues essential to inclusive democracy and marginalized communities. This role requires a deep commitment to social justice, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a proven track record in social justice philanthropy. The VP for Programs will also be instrumental in maintaining the organization's strategic positioning in the social justice field, developing thought leadership, and ensuring the highest standards of program management and development. Applicants for the Vice President for Programs position at the company should have at least 7 years' experience as a social justice advocate, with a strong background in social justice philanthropy and a demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with donors and grantee organizations. The role demands a leader who can inspire and unite colleagues around a shared vision, and who is adept at project management, communication, and financial oversight. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to turn organizational vision into programmatic impact, and to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment.
