Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide tailored occupational therapy services to students, addressing goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify student strengths and needs
• Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans
• Partner with teachers, special education professionals, and families to foster student progress
• Maintain clear and organized documentation in compliance with state and district requirements
• Participate actively in IEP meetings to help shape student goals and strategies
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, self-care, and other functional skills essential for academic and daily living success

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Virginia OT license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• NBCOT certification
• School-based experience is a plus, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Details:

• Contract position, approximately 37.5 hours per week
• Follows the school calendar with all holidays and breaks observed
