Accordingly, if you will now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status this moratorium may affect our ability to employ you should you be selected as the final candidate. ________________________________________________________________________ The Events Coordinator serves as an event representative and planner to support special university sponsored events. Coordinates and makes special arrangements for various high-level special events. Assist with all phases of event development, including event planning and event team coordination, and assist with providing deliverables to help drive projects to a successful completion. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate. Primary location will be on-site at Tarleton State University's Stephenville campus. Travel required to multiple work site locations.

Responsibilities: Coordinates and markets large events and conferences. Schedules and processes event requests developing service requirements and arranging logistics. Prepares correspondence, reports, purchase orders, and invoices related to special events. Provides on-site customer liaison during events. Coordinates post-event review and follow-up contact. Participates in the supervision of ambassador student organization. Assists with researching and cultivating networking opportunities. Acts as representative of Campus Operations and as valued member of Tarleton State as part of The Texas A&M system and performs other duties as assigned, including serving satellite campuses.

Minimum Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Exceptional problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills. Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to be accountable, responsible, and dependable member of the Campus Operations team. Ability to work flexible hours and extended schedule to support events and duties that take place outside the normal operating hours. Compensation & Benefits Salary: Commensurate with experience Salary Range: The target base annual salary range is $41,000 up to $45,100 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
