Practice Coordinator

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct the search for a Practice Coordinator on behalf of our client, a busy and well-established integrative healthcare practice specializing in acupuncture. This is a temporary, fully onsite opportunity in San Francisco, CA. RESPONSIBILITIES Serve as the first point of contact for patients and create a warm, calm, and welcoming clinic experience Manage patient appointments, scheduling, phone calls, emails, and text communications Process patient payments and assist with day-to-day front-office administration Maintain an organized, peaceful, and professional lobby, front office, and treatment environment Provide direct administrative and operational support to practice leadership Assist with social media content, marketing initiatives, and patient-facing communications Coordinate administrative projects and help maintain organization throughout the practice Anticipate needs, manage multiple priorities, and independently help keep daily clinic operations running smoothly REQUIREMENTS Prior experience in administrative support, front-office coordination, practice management, or a similar client-facing role Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently and require minimal training or ongoing direction Warm, professional, mature, and welcoming communication style Strong written communication skills and comfort assisting with social media, marketing, and written content Ability to work effectively in a busy, patient-focused environment and confidently manage changing priorities Proficiency with Mac computers and iPhones is required Experience within healthcare, wellness, medical, or another high-touch client-facing environment is a plus COMPENSATION This position offers an hourly rate of $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). Approximately 25–30 hours per week with workdays on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
