Onboarding Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert and primary coordinator for provider integration within the health service organization.
• Lead onboarding and transition activities for physicians and medical practices, ensuring a seamless integration experience while fostering strong relationships between providers, hospital leadership, and administrative teams.
• Provide project management oversight for physician and practice transitions and support operational readiness across ambulatory services.
• Coordinate and facilitate the successful integration of newly hired physicians, providers joining through practice acquisitions, and providers entering new practice locations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships between physicians, hospital leadership, administrative teams, and operational stakeholders.
• Manage onboarding timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, and administrative departments to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Identify and resolve issues that may impact onboarding or transition activities.
• Monitor progress, communicate status updates to stakeholders, and maintain appropriate documentation throughout the onboarding process.
• Support organizational initiatives related to provider integration, practice acquisitions, and operational transitions.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in a supervisory role required.
• Experience coordinating provider onboarding, physician relations, healthcare operations, project management, or practice integration preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and communication abilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, executives, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other business applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare operations, physician practice management, and ambulatory services preferred.

Term: 3+ month contract with possible extension

Schedule: Onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm EST

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Pay: $40-45/hr
