PhD-Level Clinical Science Specialist / ManagerWe've partnered with our start-up structural heart client as they are seeking a PhD-level Clinical Science Specialist / Manager to serve as a key scientific contributor across clinical, regulatory, and R&D. This role sits at the intersection of data, physicians, and product development—translating complex clinical evidence into clear insights, publications, and strategic direction.This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to leadership and external stakeholders.Your Role With The Company:Lead development of scientific content: manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and regulatory-facing materialsSynthesize clinical data, literature, and competitive insights into clear, defensible narrativesPartner with physicians to develop and refine publications and conference materialsSupport preclinical and clinical data interpretation to inform product and clinical strategyIdentify and drive publication and conference strategy (abstracts, submissions, timelines)Present key insights from scientific meetings to internal teamsDesired Profile:PhD in a scientific discipline (cardiovascular or biomedical focus preferred)Experience with peer-reviewed publications (writing, submission, authorship)Strong ability to translate complex data into compelling scientific narrativesFamiliarity with cardiovascular physiology and structural heart therapiesAbility to work directly with physicians and cross-functional teamsHigh ownership mindset in a fast-paced, build environmentWhy This Role:Direct impact on scientific strategy and external visibility of a TMVR programClose collaboration with key opinion leaders and physiciansOpportunity to shape publications, conferences, and clinical messagingHigh exposure to leadership (reports to COO)
