Responsibilities Chicago family office seeks part-time Bookkeeper to support Director of Accounting & Administration and family members. Two or three days weekly, on site (downtown Chicago). Provide support for the day-to-day financial operations and administration of the office, assisting family and its team of accountants, estate attorneys and investment professionals in management of the operation. Assist in the generation of monthly / quarterly reports (cash reports, balance sheets, foundation gifting reports). Provide support and administration for property management matters (i.e., engage with property managers). Assist with personal family matters: travel arrangements, bill pay, organizing functions, research, etc. Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in accounting, family office management, banking, or legal office. Ability and desire to work independently in a quiet office setting. Expertise in accounting, financial reporting. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.). Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Only local, Chicago area applicants will be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr
