We invite you to become a part of our organization at the Department of Veterans VA Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, as a Physician - Psychiatrist within the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program ! As a staff psychiatrist, you will be integrated into the VA San Francisco Health Care System (VASFHCS), specifically within the Mental Health Service, where you will deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and high-quality healthcare to our patients.

In your role as a Staff Psychiatrist, you will act as an attending psychiatrist for the SFVA Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing thorough outpatient care within the clinic.
• Mentoring and supervising UCSF trainees.
• Serving as backup faculty for on-call residents at the SFVA.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to offer general mental health services to Veterans, addressing a variety of psychiatric conditions such as:

• Major Depression and other Mood Disorders
• Anxiety Disorders
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders
• Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders
• Substance Use Disorders

Your duties will also involve adhering to VA directives and providing guidance to UCSF trainees while supervising on-call UCSF residents at the SFVA.

Expected Salary Range: $300K - $315K (negotiable based on qualifications, credentials, and experience)

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Specific schedules will be determined by your supervisor.
