Accounting Clerk 1

Amentum is seeking an Accounting Clerk I for Las Vegas, NV. Purpose Performs routine introductory accounting clerical operations to support the daily functions of the finance department. Responsibilities Examines and verifies accounting documents for accuracy. Identifies errors and corrects data entries per standard procedures. Performs entry-level reconciliation tasks under direct supervisor guidance. Posts recurring financial transactions into the accounting system. Verifies mathematical accuracy and escalates variances to management. Ensures all completed work adheres strictly to internal controls. Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested. Minimum Knowledge & Requirements High school diploma or GED. Entry-level role; prior professional accounting experience is not required. Strong attention to detail and basic numerical literacy. Work Environment Standard office environment. No travel required for this position.
