Overview
Speech-Language Pathologist – School-based, Spanaway, Washington. In-person assignment serving K–12 students in Washington public schools, beginning 08/31/2026 for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Weekly pay ranges from $2,051 to $2,170 per week with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Provide school-based speech-language pathology services to students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, including screening, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement IEP goals; deliver direct therapy and provide consultative services to students, families, and teachers
- Manage a caseload up to 60 students; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support communication, language, articulation, fluency, and voice needs
- Document services and progress notes in the district’s required charting system; ensure compliance with district, state, and federal policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and related team meetings; assist with accommodations/modifications to support student access and progress

Requirements
- Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
- Clinical Fellows (CFs) may apply
- Licenses in-hand preferred; if not in-hand, credentials must be issued prior to start; district will not apply for credentials on the candidate’s behalf, but expedited processing may be available
- Ability to work in a school setting (in-person) in Spanaway, WA
- Eligibility to work in the United States
