Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated machinist with 1-2 years of experience or a more advanced machinist to join our team. The primary responsibility is to operate CNC machines, focusing mainly on milling operations. Most setups are already completed; the task involves loading parts, machining, and checking using calipers and micrometers during in-process machining. There will be opportunities to work in the CNC Lathe department and perform deburring of parts as time allows.
Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, primarily for milling operations.
• Load parts into the machine and manage machining operations.
• Perform quality checks using calipers and micrometers.
• Engage in CNC Lathe operations when necessary.
• Conduct deburring of parts as time permits.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machine operation.
• Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Skills in operating milling machines.
• Familiarity with calipers and micrometers for quality checks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with CNC Lathe operations is optional but beneficial.
• Understanding of DMG and Mori Seki machines.

Work Environment
The role is based in a clean manufacturing and machining floor, focusing on 30% medical device, 40% aerospace, and 30% general customer projects. The position operates on a 2nd shift schedule, from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, following a 4-10 schedule.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
