About Us:

Yoon Haeundae Galbi is a Korean barbecue restaurant located in the heart of

midtown on 36 th street between 5 th and 6 th avenue in New York City. Our original

location in Busan, Korea named Haeundae Amso Galbijip (해운대암소갈비집)

that opened up in 1964 and is still open today with lines out the door, is a

popular destination amongst locals and visitors with a history of 60+ years

specializing in short ribs. The invention of the Haeundae cut was pioneered by

our owner’s grandfather to tenderize the toughest of meats and is utilized by

many Korean barbecue restaurants today. We chose New York City as our first

destination of expansion because we wanted preserve and share with the world

this authentic Korean dining experience to many people and cultures as

possible. We believe it is our duty to provide a restaurant with warm hospitality

and consistency for guests to feel confident to come for any occasion.

Job Title: Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a manager who has passion of Korean

cuisine that can lead and manage our front of house operations.

An ideal candidate would have at least 1 or more years of hospitality management

and is bilingual in English and Korean with an eagerness to ensure a warm and

memorable experience for our guest.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Oversee FOH operations and coordinate with our chef in managing the

BOH operations that correlate to the FOH operations.

- Oversee dinning hall & bar program, menu development and inventory control.

- Monitoring guest experience and the ability to resolve issues promptly

and professionally.

- Lead, train and motivate front of house employees to uphold Yoon

Haeundae Galbi’s hospitality standards.

- Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor costs to optimize efficiency.

- Enforce all health, safety, and liquor regulations.

- Experience with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory

management.

- Must be available for Dinner, weekends, and holidays.

- Communicate with BOH to ensure Service efficiency and great guest experience.

- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
