Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Ascension Search Partners has been retained to hire a Director of FP&A to join a PE backed, healthcare services powerhouse finance team where this person will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. This is a highly visible, hands-on position working closely with executive leadership to work on M&A deals and deliver insights that shape business outcomes. You’ll lead core planning processes, analyze performance across the organization, and help translate operational initiatives into actionable financial strategies. What You’ll Do Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes Provide data-driven insights to improve revenue, profitability, and cost efficiency Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance and support strategic initiatives Build and maintain robust financial models for scenario analysis and decision support Support executive reporting and presentations for senior leadership and investors Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury-related activities Enhance reporting tools, forecasting processes, and business intelligence capabilities Contribute to M&A activities including financial analysis, due diligence, and integration Ensure alignment with financial, regulatory, and risk management frameworks What We’re Looking For 8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, transaction advisory services, or similar roles Background in healthcare services or a complex, regulated industry preferred Strong financial modeling and analytical skills Experience working with large datasets and tools like SQL or BI platforms Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders Experience in high-growth or investor-backed environments is a plus Excellent communication and presentation skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
