Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in California (or eligibility for licensure)
• Previous experience working in pediatric or school-based OT settings preferred
• Solid understanding of IDEA, IEP processes, and evidence-based OT interventions in educational environments
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine individual OT needs using standardized and functional assessments
• Develop and implement personalized intervention plans to support educational progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student participation and success in the classroom
• Contribute to IEP meetings, progress reports, and compliance-related documentation
• Provide training and resources to staff and families on strategies that improve functional skills
• Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with school and state requirements
