Yes Required Certifications Basic Fetal Monitoring Common diagnoses/Types of patients Gestational Hypertension, Gestational Diabetes, PreEclampsia Experience or 'Must have' skills Basic Fetal Monitoring, Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines, Antepartum, Intrapartum, PostPartum Care Are RNs required to titrate drips? Yes Common titratable &/or set rate drips Oxytocin, Insulin, Epidural Charge Nurse/House Supervisor Yes Are there nurse aids/surgical techs on this unit? OB techs OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7? No RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc) Cpap, Bipap, Vent Is there tele on this unit? Monitor Techs? RNs read strips? Telemetry is available, Monitor techs are housed but On OB, RN's can read strips EFM System GE Centricity Shifts & Scheduling 7a-7p, 7p-7a Weekend Requirement Every other weekend Holiday Requirement Either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day Is there a call or standby requirement? 3-4 call shifts in a 6 week schedule, must be available and present to work in 30 minutes if on call Floating Requirements None Scrub Color/Dress code Scrubs are provided in house Unit/Department specific orientation Provided intradepartmentally Additional Notes Ability to Circulate and Recover Cesarean Sections preferred
