Dealership Accounts Payable Clerk

Rewarding pay is based on knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval. Prepares accounts payable checks. Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis. Reconcile statement and the ledger making sure that payments are consistent with dealership schedules. Communicate cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager. Answer all vendor inquiries. Assist in monthly closings. Prepare analysis of accounts, as required. Fill in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management. Maintain clean workspace and professional appearance. Complete training as assigned by dealer and manufacturer. Process and post payments accurately and timely Prepare and distribute invoices and accounts statements Monitor accounts to ensure timely payment and follow up on outstanding balances Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies Maintain accurate and financial records and documentation process refunds, credits, and adjustments as needed respond to inquiries regarding billing and payment issues Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing concerns Other tasks as assigned.
