General Manager (Charlotte)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing installed building products company who is looking for a General Manager to lead their Charlotte, NC branch. This person will oversee the financial performance, operations, subcontractor network, and customer relationships for one of the company's largest and most established locations, primarily serving production homebuilders. This role offers significant autonomy, strong executive support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a rapidly growing organization.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the overall operations and financial performance of a $30M branch operation.
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and operational KPIs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with production homebuilders, general contractors, and key customers.
• Provide strategic leadership while directly managing the Branch Operations Manager, who oversees day-to-day field operations and installation teams.
• Oversee subcontractor partnerships, vendor relationships, hiring, coaching, and team development.
• Drive branch growth through operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous process improvements.
• Partner with corporate leadership on strategic initiatives, staffing, and long-term business planning.

What You Bring

• Prior experience leading a branch, business unit, or operational facility with full P&L responsibility.
• Experience managing high-volume construction or service operations utilizing subcontractors.
• Strong financial acumen with responsibility for budgets, forecasting, pricing, and operational performance.
• Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and develop employees.
• Experience building relationships with production homebuilders, general contractors, or commercial customers.
• Residential production building experience preferred; commercial construction or specialty contractor leadership also considered.
