Tax Manager

Job Title

Responsibilities

• Manage US partnership and corporate income tax compliance process, including providing internal schedules to external tax preparers, timely response of all inquiries and final review of returns for accuracy. • Manage and support quarterly and annual tax provision process to ensure accurate and timely tax accounting and disclosure. • Support communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely compliance and support of various parties' deadlines and requirements. • Assist with Federal and State government tax audits, including dealing directly with IRS and state auditors as required. • Manage and oversee timely resolution of IRS or state income tax notices.

Qualifications

• Qualified CPA or other equivalent with at least 5 years of US partnership tax experience • Strong technical knowledge of US Federal and State income tax and willingness to stay abreast of ever-changing tax and compliance rules • Experience managing partner capital accounts and basis adjustments • Experience in reviewing partnership tax returns and meeting compliance deadlines • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Strong technology skills working with MS Office products (Excel) and ability to leverage technology skills to more efficiently manage business needs and improve processes already in place • Ability to multi-task and work in a collaborative environment • Self-motivated, proactive, and possess exceptional project management skills • Experience reviewing tax equity models is a plus • Experience with corporate taxation and/or ASC740 is a plus • Experience in renewable energy industry is a plus • Familiarity with HLBV accounting principles is a plus
