Interventional Cardiologist Locum Opportunity – Gettysburg, PA

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide hospital-based coverage in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This assignment includes a mix of inpatient consults, interventional procedures, STEMI call coverage, and advanced cardiac imaging responsibilities.

Compensation: Regular: $430/hr, 24-Hour Call: $3,550 per 24 hours, Night Call: $590/shift, Call Back: $490/hr.

Sept 4–6: 24-hour STEMI call (7a–7a)

Sept 7–11: 7a–4p clinical coverage plus night beeper call (4p–7a)

October

Oct 16–23: Clinical coverage with night beeper call

Oct 17–18: 24-hour STEMI call

Oct 24–25: 24-hour STEMI call

Oct 26–30: Clinical coverage with night beeper call

Oct 31–Nov 1: 24-hour STEMI call

November

Nov 16–20: Clinical coverage with night beeper call

Nov 21–22: 24-hour STEMI call

December

Dec 7–11: Clinical coverage with night beeper call

Schedule

Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Night Beeper Call: 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend STEMI Call: 24-hour coverage

One-hour lunch required Monday–Friday

Clinical Responsibilities

Inpatient cardiology consults

Outpatient and inpatient cardiac catheterizations

STEMI call coverage

Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)

Echocardiogram interpretation

Cardiac imaging and diagnostic testing

Hospital rounding and patient management

Volume

Average 15 consults per day

Approximately 3 procedures per day

Qualifications

Required

Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology

Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC Letter of Qualification

DEA Registration

Active PA License or IMLC LOQ in hand at presentation

Credentialing

Approximately 120 days if not already credentialed with WellSpan

Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
