Systems Account Manager Process Automation

Territory: North & East Texas + Southwest Arkansas (field-based)

Type: Full-time | Onsite with frequent customer visits

Travel: Up to 75%

The Role

Own a territory and grow adoption of industrial automation and control solutions (DCS/PLC/HMI and related services). You'll drive strategic initiatives, develop key accounts, and deliver measurable business outcomes that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

What You'll Do

Customer & Market

• Build relationships with sponsors/decision-makers and map buying centers.
• Stay sharp on industry trends, competitors, and customer initiatives.
• Document business outcomes tied to customer KPIs.

Solutions & Value

• Diagnose recurring problems; shape solution architectures with internal engineers.
• Quantify value (ROI, OEE, throughput, downtime, quality) and guide solution selection.

Sales Execution

• Own territory plan, pipeline, and opportunity qualification.
• Create account strategies for profitable, long-term growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide clear forecasts and updates.
• Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and associations.

Internal Collaboration

• Coordinate with application engineering and services teams for seamless delivery.
• Share account insights and pipeline health with leadership; support continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or related fieldor equivalent industry success.
• 35+ years in complex/solutions selling (multi-stakeholder, long cycles).
• Strong communicator and presenter; comfortable with technical discussions (DCS/PLC/HMI, L3 apps).
• Organized, self-directed, resourceful; skilled with CRM and common productivity tools.
• U.S. work authorization, valid driver's license, and clean driving record.

Physical/Field Requirements

• Drive to customer sites frequently; work outdoors as needed.
• Lift/carry up to 40 lbs (demo/customer equipment).
• Wear required PPE on site.
