Work You'll Do

As a Supply Chain Risk Management, Senior Consultant on the Supply Chain & Network Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting supply chain risk management policy, governance, and coordination activities across complex logistics environments.

• Support supply chain risk management policy, oversight, and governance activities across logistics and supply chain functions
• Analyze the impacts of policies, directives, and governance requirements across acquisition, sourcing, procurement, transportation, distribution, sustainment, readiness, and supplier resilience
• Draft and coordinate policy documents, briefing materials, memoranda, talking points, and decision support materials for leadership review
• Track issues, risks, dependencies, stakeholder comments, and action items across cross-functional teams and implementation efforts
• Develop recommendations, reporting approaches, and implementation plans that improve visibility, accountability, and resilience across supply chain operations

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain risk management, logistics, policy analysis, acquisition, sustainment, transportation, or industrial base programs within federal or defense environments
• 5+ Experience drafting policy documents, decision papers, briefings, memoranda, and executive correspondence
• 5+ Experience coordinating stakeholder reviews, staffing packages, governance actions, or implementation activities across multiple organizations
• Active Secret security clearance required
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

• 8+ years of experience in policy, logistics, supply chain, acquisition, sustainment, or supply chain risk management programs within federal or defense environments
• 6+ Experience supporting headquarters, component, command, or enterprise-level logistics and supply chain policy or governance activities
• 6+ Experience assessing industrial base risk, critical dependencies, supplier resilience, transportation networks, or supply availability
• 6+ Experience preparing executive briefings, recommendations, read-aheads, or decision support materials for senior leaders
• 6+ Experience developing performance measures, reporting mechanisms, risk dashboards, or implementation plans

This compensation range is specific to Washington DC and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,000 to $188,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
