Accounts Payable Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Accounts Payable Representative to support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations within a dynamic financial services organization. Reporting to the Expense Management Manager, this role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable invoices, administration of the corporate card program, and support of payment-related activities within an Oracle ERP environment.

The ideal candidate will possess accounts payable experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional internal customer service. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with purchasing policies, financial controls, and payment procedures while contributing to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and efficiently within Oracle ERP systems.
• Review invoices and expense reports to ensure proper approvals, supporting documentation, purchase order matching, coding accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Apply Procure-to-Pay (P2P) policies and payment controls, including purchase order requirements, receipt verification, and adherence to financial procedures.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, expense, and payment discrepancies, including pricing, quantity, tax, and service date variances.
• Respond to inquiries from employees, suppliers, and business partners regarding invoices, expenses, corporate cards, and payment issues.
• Administer corporate card activities, including new applications, credit limit changes, suspensions, and cancellations.
• Support month-end close activities, audit requests, special projects, and process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across accounts payable operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
• Understanding of accounts payable processes, controls, and best practices.
• Experience processing both PO and non-PO invoices.
• Ability to interpret purchase orders, contracts, and invoice documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using Oracle ERP systems for accounts payable and invoice processing preferred
