About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission-driven, interdisciplinary team in the field of climate action. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic vision, organizational leadership, and fundraising, with a strong emphasis on upholding the values of open science, integrity, and humility. Key responsibilities include articulating and advancing a clear vision for the organization's evolving mission, leading a high-performing team, and fostering a culture of collaboration and intellectual rigor. The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic leadership, experience in guiding research or technical teams, and a deep commitment to open science and transparency. A proactive and clear communication style, as well as a proven track record in fundraising, particularly with individual donors and foundations, is essential. The Executive Director will be expected to lead the organization through a period of strategic evolution, balancing the excellence of existing work with the development of new ideas, partnerships, and programs.
