Job Title: Welder/Fitter

• We’re looking for a Welder/Fitter to join our team and help build structural steel components for the construction industry.

• Most of the work involves welding, fabricating, and fitting I‑beams and other structural pieces in a shop environment.

What You’ll Do

• Weld and fabricate structural steel parts, mainly I‑beams

• Read and follow blueprints to ensure accurate layout and assembly

• Perform flux‑core (FCAW) welding

• Fit, assemble, and tack‑weld components according to project specs

What You Need

Essential Skills

• Strong welding and fabrication abilities

• Hands‑on experience with flux‑core welding (FCAW)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience fitting and working with structural steel

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as a fitter or welder in construction or steel fabrication

• Familiarity with assembly and tack‑welding processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
