Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of Level 1 trauma center experience and Philips MR expertise for a day shift travel assignment.

Job Details

• Radiology MRI department at a Level 1 trauma center with 650+ beds,
• Serves inpatient and outpatient adult, anesthesia, and ICU patient populations,
• 1:1 patient ratio,
• Performs Neuro (spine, brain, brain perfusion), Body (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis), and MSK imaging - no breast, cardiac, or prostate imaging required,
• Uses Philips MR 1.5T and 3T (Ingenia and Ambition models),
• Epic EMR,
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM,
• Weekend and weekend overnight shifts included, rotating between Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday or Thursday/Friday/Saturday,
• Weeknight and weekend call included,
• 26-week contract length,
• May float up to 25 miles between facilities as needed,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience at a Level 1 trauma center required,
• ARRT (MR) and AMRIT certifications required,
• License required if applicable,
• Philips MR experience required,
• Experience with Neuro, Body, and MSK imaging protocols required,
• Epic EMR experience preferred,
• Driver's license required for consideration,
• 2 professional references required,

• Candidates should be self-motivated, reliable, flexible, and skilled communicators,
• Must run imaging protocols as written,
• Scrubs of any color accepted except hospital-issued scrubs,
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion,
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage prohibited on the unit,
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are eligible but not eligible for renewals or extensions,
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
