This role routinely uses standard office/classroom/lab equipment and technologies.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:This is a face-to-face, on-campus instructor position. Faculty must respond to all emails and requests within 24 hours Monday-Thursday and within 48 hours on weekends (Friday-Sunday).Travel:Travel to other campuses may be required to attend meetings, trainings, and professional development.Required Education and Experience:Associate’s degree in Commercial Construction Management, or related degree from an accredited institution AND a minimum 3 years out of the past 7 years of industry experienceValid Driver’s LicensePreferred Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in teaching discipline or related degree from an accredited institution AND a minimum 3 years out of the past 7 years of industry experienceCertifications (i.e. OSHA-30, LEED, etc.)Blueprint Reading, Project Management, Scheduling Software (i.e. Bluebeam, Planera, Primavera P6, ProCore, etc.)Teaching experience at the postsecondary levelOnline teaching experienceOther Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
